Our God, will you not judge them- For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.
If you’re a hard worker and do a good job, you deserve your pay; we don’t call your wages a gift. But if you see that the job is too big for you, that it’s something only God can do, and you trust him to do it—you could never do it for yourself no matter how hard and long you worked—well, that trusting-him-to-do-it is what gets you set right with God, by God. Sheer gift.
Romans 4:4-5 MSG

When I read this I came to realise that we need to work hard at our lives and that we need to do our work everyday. Even if it is a stay at home mom or a office job your career is important to God. The reason for this is because God cares for you and wants you to be good at all things.  But going around and being lazy and saying “It is in God’s hands” that is just misleading. According to this scripture God would take care of things if it is too big for us to take care. Not what we don’t want to do because we are too busy or too tired or too lazy… These are excuses and truthfully we need to pay more attention to what we can do with God by our side than letting God do everything for us.
